Blasting Technician

Select People Solutions is excited to partner with our client outside of Lethbridge in their search for a Blasting Technician to join their team. This role is responsible for supporting surface preparation and finishing processes by operating abrasive blasting equipment, ensuring precise results, and maintaining a strong focus on safety. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in producing clean, consistent finishes and following established procedures.

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• Temporary opportunity

• Perform abrasive blasting on a variety of metal parts and surfaces
• Prepare materials through cleaning, masking, and inspection prior to blasting
• Set up, operate, and maintain blasting equipment, ensuring correct media use
• Follow all safety procedures and consistently use required PPE
• Keep workspaces clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Assist with general shop tasks and support the production team as needed

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required
• Previous blasting or industrial surface preparation experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions
• Physically capable of performing manual, repetitive tasks for extended periods
