• Project Manager

    We’re partnering with a well-established Lethbridge commercial and industrial construction company to recruit their next Project Manager. They’re looking for someone with horsepower - a sharp, decisive leader who thrives in fast-moving environments and takes pride in pulling all the moving pieces together into a seamless, successful project.

    Compensation & Hours:
    • The wage is expected to be $90K - $110K/yr.
    • 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
    • This position will require some travel (day trips)
     
    Position Summary:
    • Streamlining projects through effective planning/scheduling, purchasing, and process implementation
    • Liaising with subcontractors, stakeholders, suppliers, engineers, site supervisors, and employees
    • Ensuring that financial costs are well managed and reported accurately
    • Reviewing and approving drawings
    • Obtaining quotes and ordering materials
    • Acquiring occupancy, development, and building permits
    • Reporting on project progression
    • Creating manuals for operations and maintenance
    • Preparing invitations to bid
     
    Required Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of previous experience in a project management role, within commercial construction
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
    • Ability to read blueprints and interpret contracts
    • First Aid training
    • Proficient in MS Office
    • Travel to site on an as-needed basis
     
    Bonus Points For:
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation, Gold Seal Certified Project Manager, or equivalent education
    • Post-secondary education in Construction or Carpentry 
    • Blue Seal Designation
    • Familiarity with AutoCAD
