Machinist

Select People Solutions is looking for a Machinist to join out clients team. Successful candidates will be strong problem solvers and able to work well within a team environment. If you are a Journeyman looking for a safety focused and quality minded team – we want to hear from you.
 
Compensation & Hours:

• The rate of pay will be $40 +shift premiums for afternoon shifts
• Monday-Thursday
• RRSP
• Benefits

• Complete general and repair machining, including manual, CNC, component repair, and refurbishment
• Program CNC machines, set up for production, and complete the manufacturing of parts
• Utilize a variety of equipment including lathes, mills, manual/CNC machining, and other machine accessories
• Repair machine tools and parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings 3D models, and charts for standard and custom part manufacturing
• Problem solve plans and machinery to keep errors and material waste as efficient as possible

• Valid Journeyman Machinist certification
• 4+ years of machine shop experience
• Strong problem solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot
• Valid class 5 license and reliable vehicle
• CNC Experience
