    Our client is looking for a proactive and people-focused HR/HSE Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental programs across their industrial operations. This is a crucial leadership role that directly impacts the safety culture and ensures regulatory compliance at every level.

    Compensation & Hours:
    • Hybrid role, must be based in the Lethbridge area
    • Monday – Friday
     
    Position Summary:
    • Developing and implementing internal HSE & HR policies and procedures
    • Ensuring compliance with all legislation, standards, and best practices
    • Training employees on all health and safety policies and procedures
    • Leading incident investigations and facilitating company and employee benefits, including WCB claims as required
    • Developing recruitment strategies and creating opportunity for employee engagement to ensure retention
    • Managing employment records, including professional development, performance reviews, grievances and discipline records
    • Overseeing employee onboarding, training, performance reviews and termination processes
    • Manage company compliance regarding environmental regulation
     
    Required Qualifications:
    • 3+ years experience in a Human Resources role
    • Strong critical thinking skills and creative problem solving skills
    • Strong communication skills, including the ability to have hard conversations with staff
    • Class 5 and reliable vehicle
     
    Bonus Points For:
    • COR certification experience
    • CPHR Certification
