    Select People Solutions is pleased to be working with the Aboriginal Housing Society as they search for a Executive Director to lead their organization through different initiatives, projects, and team building.     Aboriginal Housing Society is a rapid growing organization that works within the community to assist any person of Aboriginal heritage with the opportunity to obtain and maintain suitable housing.     Compensation & Hours:
    •    Monday-Friday, some evenings and weekends will be required for troubleshooting and community events as needed
    •    Based in-office in Lethbridge, AB
    •    Occasional travel for conferences, events, and government meetings

    Position Summary:
    •    Oversee daily operations and long-term strategies across multiple properties and units
    •    Lead hiring, HR functions, and staff development, ensuring a strong team dynamic
    •    Report to and collaborate with a governance board to develop reports, budgets, and overall organizational vision
    •    Manage organizational finances, budgets, and funding oversight
    •    Create and implement policies and procedures
    •    Organize community functions and engagement opportunities
    •    Track project performance and provide final reporting/wrap-up
    •    Present reports for organizational finance, team development, budgets, and initiative outcomes
    •    Work collaboratively with different Indigenous organizations, governments, and other non-profits for projects, initiatives, and grants
    •    Operate across multiple domains, balancing strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, training, and communication on an organization wide scale

    Required Qualifications:
    •    5+ years of experience in a senior leadership role
    •    Knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy laws, and compliance
    •    Familiarity with culturally responsible and inclusive service delivery
    •    Proven leadership skills, including the ability to lead with clarity and confidence
    •    Strong human resources and financial acumen
    •    Skilled in change management and implementing organizational transformation
