Accounts Payable Clerk

Select is assisting a Lethbridge, AB based company in their search for an Accounts Payable Clerk. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments. Collaborating with the finance team to maintain financial records, resolve discrepancies, and support month-end close processes. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong communication skills.

• The rate of pay will be $42,000 - $52,000 annually
• Monday – Friday, daytime hours
• Permanent, Full time position

• Greet visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner, directing them appropriately.
• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Reconcile vendor statements and address any outstanding balances or discrepancies
• Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for accounts payable documentation.
• Supporting financial team

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft office Suite
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, ensuring effective communication with team members, clients, and visitors.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to be self-motivated and work well within a team environment.

• Post secondary education in administration, accounting or finance.
