Welder

Select People Solutions is pleased to be looking for a Welder to join our client’s team. Successful candidates will be 2^nd year, 3^rd year, or Journeyman Welders with a willingness to learn. If you are adaptable and about to work with a team or independently, we want to hear from you.

• The rate of pay will be $30-35/hr. based on experience
• Located 20 minutes from Lethbridge

• Welding and fabricating through manual or semi-automatic processes and equipment
• Ensure the fitting of components and dimensions are precise and accurate
• Read blueprints and accurately lay out patterns and shapes to match design requirements
• Operate shop equipment, including welders, band saws, cutting tables, rollers, angle grinders, hand drills, and a variety of others
• Inspect yours and others work to identify defects, flaws, or issues and ensure they are resolved to a high quality of work
• Follow all outlined health and safety practices and procedures as outlined in the shop 

• 2^nd year, 3^rd year or Journeyman certification
• 2+ years of experience in welding within construction, agriculture, or manufacturing industries
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints effectively
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. safely
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

• Experience with hydraulics (rod ends, barrels, etc.)

• Background within the agriculture industry
