Controller

Select People Solutions is partnering with our client to find a Controller to lead their finance function. This role is responsible for budgeting, financial planning, and delivering clear, actionable financial reporting. Compensation & Hours:

• The rate of pay will be $90-$95K/year
• Monday- Friday
• This role is based in office in Lethbridge, AB

• Offering accounting direction on all accounting processes including payroll and benefits
• Streamlining the financial operations by developing policies, overseeing compliance, managing KPI’s, and streamlining operations
• Compiling and presenting financial reports
• Forecasting
• Special projects and data analysis, including the monitoring of corporate credit, assessing risks, and investigating variances
• Collaborating and building relationships with department leaders, government agencies, and other professional organizations
• Meeting deadlines and managing month-end/year-end closing processes/audits

• 3+ years’ experience as a Controller, Finance Manager, or related management role
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate, mentor, and provide consultation
• Unrivaled attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

• CPA Designation
