Maintenance Technician

Compensation & Hours:

• The expected salary will be based on experience and current certifications

• Executing repairs and routine maintenance on plant machinery, equipment, and other mechanical systems
• Inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding machinery as needed
• Collaborating with the maintenance team to develop and implement preventative maintenance and inspection schedules
• Utilizing Computer Maintenance Management Software to complete assigned work, see maintenance requests, and order parts
• Maintaining accurate records of repairs, inspections, modifications, and current condition of machinery
• Installing and retrofitting production equipment; fabricating, welding, overhaul of electrical systems, and ensuring the alignment of moving parts
• Assisting with plant shut down operations
• Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols during all repair and maintenance
• Suggesting optimization opportunities in regard to safety, efficiency, and reliability

• 3-5 years’ of experience in a maintenance technician role
• Strong diagnostic, problem solving skills, and ability to brainstorm collaboratively
• Understanding of how to work with a variety of materials including stainless steel and aluminum
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• High attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs safely

• Certification as a HDM, Millwright, Welder, Electrician, etc.

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
