Restoration Worker

Working as a Restoration Worker might be perfect for you! You’ll help clean and fix buildings that were damaged by disasters. This includes saving what can be used, cleaning up, removing damaged things, and helping to make the space safe and usable again.

• The rate of pay will be $20/hr.
• On-Call work

• Help with clean-up jobs dealing with fire or water damage, demolition, restoration
• Handle and clean up hazardous materials
• Remove and replace damaged floors, walls, furniture, etc.
• Clean up mold and help dry things out (if certified)
• Clean and sanitize parts of the building that can still be used
• Follow safety rules (complete site-specific assessments or field level hazard assessments as needed)
• Do heavy physical work
• Use tools and equipment (hand and power tools)

• 2+ years construction experience
• PPE: Steel toe boots, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, high-vis vest, & mask
• Know how to use hand and power tools
• Good at communicating and working with others
• Able to solve problems calmly
• Can handle changes and work in busy situations
• A valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle to get to work sites

• Previous restoration experience
• Current First Aid, Confined Spaces, or Asbestos remediation certification and mold remediation certification.
• General construction experience (residential or commercial)
