Lumber Sales

We are working with our client in the construction industry as they search for someone to join their team in lumber sales. This role primarily works with contractors in a customer service focused capacity ensuring clients have the materials they need when they need them. If you are self motivated and able to quickly adapt and problem solve, we want to hear from you.

• Collaborate with sales manager and construction teams for seamless delivery
• Work with returning customers and referrals to define project scope
• Support estimating and cost evaluation alongside leadership
• Build trust-based client relationships through clear communication
• Coordinate timelines, contractors, and delivery details

• Implement lean practices to improve project efficiency
• Collaborate with teams to address inefficiencies and enhance processes
• Manage quality improvement projects and track progress

• 2+ years experience in building/construction material sales
• Strong customer service skills, including the ability to talk with clients, contractors, and vendors
• Computer literacy skills
• Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
• Knowledge of contractor workflows and timelines

• Experience as a contractor or builder
