• Sales Manager – Heavy Equipment

    At JPH Equipment, we buy and sell heavy equipment in partnership with our customers. By gathering all the necessary information on the equipment, we can properly represent the equipment while freeing our customers to manage their own businesses.  We have a dedicated and long-term team and due to growth, we are excited to be looking for our next team member!
    We are looking for a new team member in the position of:
     
    Sales Manager – Heavy Equipment
    Based in Lethbridge
     
    Responsibilities:

    • Create and Maintain Trusting Relationships with the Sales Team, Staff and Customer Base
    • Team Leadership and Development: Train, Mentor and Motivate Sales Representatives
    • Set Individual Sales Quotas to Align with Company-wide Revenue Goals
    • Inventory and Asset Management: Track Equipment Demand, Manage Lead Times, and Coordinate with Administrative Staff
    • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on Marketing Initiatives and Targeted Advertising Campaigns
    • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the Annual Business Plan and Territory Strategies to Expand Market Base
    • Monitor Financial Performance Indicators, including Gross Margins, Trade Valuations, and Sales Department Budgets
    • Operational Responsibilities such as Managing Schedules and Vacation Requests
     
    Requirements:
    • Positive and Collaborative Outlook with an Ability to Motivate the Team
    • Professional Presentation, both in person and over the phone
    • Experience Managing a Team
    • Experience working in the Heavy Equipment Industry
    • Proactive Attitude with Ability to Multi-task
    • High Level of Organization
    • High Level of Accuracy and Attention to Detail
    • Ability to Prioritize and Stay Focused in a Fast-Paced Environment
    • Strong Computer Skills with Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Online Platforms
    • Ability to Maintain a High Level of Confidentiality
    • Willingness to Take Ownership of the Role
