Outside Sales Representative

Our client is seeking a relationship-driven Outside Sales Representative to support and grow an established territory. This role focuses on helping industrial businesses solve equipment and maintenance challenges by supplying bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical power transmission components. You’ll spend most of your time on-site with customers — learning their operations, identifying opportunities, and becoming a trusted technical resource rather than just a vendor.

• Salary range is $90K–$100K/year, with additional incentive compensation based on performance metrics

• Manage and grow an assigned territory through regular in-person customer visits
• Develop new business through prospecting, networking, and referrals
• Identify application needs and recommend appropriate motion and power transmission solutions
• Work with inside sales and operations to coordinate quotes, orders, and delivery timelines
• Review customer equipment and maintenance requirements to uncover upsell opportunities
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales agreements
• Maintain accurate CRM records, activity logs, and sales forecasts

• 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience (industrial or technical products preferred)
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand equipment or production processes
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with strong time management and territory planning abilities
• Comfortable reading basic technical drawings or specifications
• Must have Class 5 license and a clean driving abstract

• Bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, or power transmission product knowledge
• Background in trades, parts counter sales, or industrial distribution
