  •  Harry Gross, President

    Harry Gross is co-founder and President of Stranville Group Ltd, a Lethbridge based company started in 2009 and with four divisions involved in commercial property, real estate development, residential construction and wholesale distribution of pumps & water systems.  

    Previous to Stranville, Harry spent over 20 years of public accounting practice, 12 of those years as a partner, including 7 years with MNP. At MNP, he was on board of directors and held senior management positions in the Corporate Finance and Agriculture divisions. This background has provided extensive experience in corporate governance, strategic planning, business development, finance, and tax.

    Over the past 3 years as a Chamber board member, Harry has been involved in updating our strategic plan, restructuring the Chamber to increase the effectiveness of our committees and board and participated in the executive, business affairs and business growth committees.


    Ryan Miller, 

    First Vice President

    Ryan is currently the President and owner of Teamwork Training Ltd., consisting of Select People Solutions, Teamwork Training Institute and Teamwork Career Centre. Teamwork Training Ltd. is proud to have served Southern Alberta for 25 years, providing essential career, employment, recruiting  and training services to over  50,000 job seekers and business.

    Ryan is recognized as a Canadian Certified Human Resources Professional and has acted as a board member for the Human Resources Institute of Alberta, the HR Management Association of Lethbridge, and the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce.

    Community is important to Ryan, highlighted by the  development of the Meals on Wheels “23 Days of Christmas” campaign and the creation of the Greatness in Leadership Management Development Day, bringing world class leaders such as Wayne Gretzky, Disney, Chester Elton, Buzz Aldrin, Chris Hadfield to Lethbridge Alberta.


    Kristie Kruger, 

    Second Vice President

    Kristie Kruger is an Owner/Realtor with My Life Realty who is passionate about assisting her clients, through education and understanding their needs to sell or find the right investment for them, either personally or as a revenue property. As a new Brokerage in Lethbridge, their goal is to insure the success of their Realtors by providing the support, training and tools they will need to ensure they are constantly raising the bar of professionalism in the industry.  Kristie supports many local charities throughout the year as a way to give back to the community that supports her business.

    Kristie is very involved with the community, currently acting as the President on the Board of Directors for the Lethbridge and District Association of Realtors, and a Director on the Board and committee chair of the Natural Resources & Environment Committee with the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce. In the past, her community involvement has ranged from sitting on the Board of the Young Professionals Association of Lethbridge, Past President of the Rotary Club of Lethbridge Urban Spirits, Past District Interact Chair through Rotary District 5360, Past Chair of the School Council for Ecole Agnes Davidson Elementary School and sitting on the Board for the Campus Connections Project at Lethbridge College.

    Kristie looks forward to the opportunity to share her knowledge and experience as well as gain new insight and help make an impact in areas affecting business and lifestyle in our community.


    Loralee Burton, 

    Vice President Finance

    Loralee is a CA at Burton & Co. Chartered Accountants.  She started in public practice accounting in 1987, with a few detours along the way in government auditor positions  and an assistant controller for a public company. She earned her Chartered Accountant designation in 2003.

    Loralee moved to Lethbridge in 2000 and, in 2014, founded Burton & Co. Chartered Accountants.

    Past and Present community involvement includes the Rotary Club of Lethbridge (Treasurer); University of Lethbridge (Senate Member); Women’s Soccer Association of Lethbridge (Treasurer); BNI Windy Club (Treasurer); Lethbridge American Legion Baseball (Treasurer); and 5th on 5th Youth Services (Past President). Chamber of Commerce (VP of Finance) 

    In 2008, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta awarded Loralee with the Early Achievement Award for bringing honour to the CA designation in her first 10 years as a CA.  This award recognized her outstanding commitment to the community.  She was also honoured as Rotarian of the Year for 2006-2007 by the Rotary Club of Lethbridge for her service on the Board of Directors and her active involvement in many club activities.


    Mark Brown, Director External Relations

    Mark is the Regional Vice President for Royal Bank in Alberta South, located in Lethbridge. In his 25 years with RBC, he has held many strategic leadership positions across 4 provinces in Canada. Mark and his wife Ayron relocated to Lethbridge in 2012.

    Mark brings a vast background of community involvement to the table in addition to his professional experience.

    Currently a board member of Economic Development Lethbridge, as well as the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra – he has served previously on many boards (among them Upstart Calgary, Calgary NorthWest Community Athletic Assoc, Calgary Hornet Lacrosse), and volunteerd for Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement, United Way, and JDRF.

    Mark is a member of the Lethbridge Rotary Club (Downtown).


    Nicole Geske, 

    Director Business Affairs

    Nicole is an innovative leader and energetic contributor to her community. As the Business Operations Manager for Whipcord, Nicole manages and maintains accountability for the daily operations and processes encompassing marketing, account management, customer service, customer implementations, and local sales.

    She enjoys contributing in the community at many levels, including a long tenure as a Committee member and former Co-Chair of the Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event. Nicole holds a Bachelors of Environmental Science from the University of Lethbridge (2005) and graduated from the Executive MBA program through the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary in May, 2013.

    Nicole has been a Board member with the Chamber of Commerce for the past three years and was involved with the Chamber’s Membership Services Committee for one and a half years. She was then invited to participate on the Business Growth and Advocacy committee as the Technology Industry representative where she now holds the role of Co-Chair.

    Nicole is a strong candidate for the Chamber; she will brings experience in business, an understanding of the Chamber, and energy and drive to support and guide the direction of the organization.

    Jared Cox, Director


    Jared was born and raised in Lethbridge and graduated from the University of Lethbridge in 2012 with a Bachelors of Management, Finance. He started working with Cox Financial Group in 2012 and obtained by Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS) designation in 2013.

    Jared's family has a history of giving back to our community and would like to continue to build on that tradition.

    In an effort to build on the family tradition of community involvement he is currently a member of the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce’s Next Generations Committee, Business Growth and Advocacy Committee and the Human Resources Policy Committee.






    Peter Deys, Director


    Peter is the GM/GSM of 94.1 CJOC and 98.1 The Bridge, which are owned by Clear Sky Radio of Lethbridge.

    Peter served as the Director of External Relations on the Chamber Board for the past year, and has been a member of the Chamber's Municipal Policy and Direction Committee for two years.

    Peter also serves as Vice Chair of the Lethbridge Police Commission, and is a member of the downtown Lethbridge Rotary Club.

    Dave Hasley, Director


    Dave has over 20 years of management experience in the business sector in both Manitoba and Alberta.

    For the past 12 years he has held the position of Corporate Human Resources Manager and Health Safety and Environment Manager with Varsteel Ltd. He has his diploma in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources and Accounting.

    He has served as past Chair of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering for Southern Alberta, and is a current member of the Human Resources Institute of Alberta. He is also a Certified COR Safety Auditor in Alberta and B.C

    Moving here from Winnipeg in 1999, Dave has enjoyed living in Southern Alberta where he loves to snowboard, Mountain Bike Kayak and camping. Loves having Waterton as his big back yard. Dave has been married for 23 years to Connie and they have three children.




    Darrel Koskewich, Director

    Darrel has been in the Credit Union system for over 37 years, holding various senior management positions with four credit unions in Alberta.

    As Vice President of Business Development at 1st Choice Savings, he is passionate about marketing, building business relationships and customer service. Darrel is well known throughout the Canadian Credit Union system and has served on the Alberta Joint Marketing Committee, Marketing Association of Alberta Credit Unions, CUETS Marketing and Loyalty Advisory Committee, CUIS Advisory Board and was President of the Marketing Association for Canadian Credit Unions.

    Darrel embraces lifelong learning through the Credit Union Institute of Canada, Credit Union Executive Society and Queens School of Business.

    Currently he is a Chamber of Commerce Board Member and participates on the Municipal Direction and Policy Committee. Past community activities include Lethbridge Athletic Association, director on the South Central Alberta Hockey League & Lethbridge Minor Hockey Association and current member of the Italian Canadian Culture Society. One of my exciting community accomplishments was Hockey Canada’s Protocol Chair for the World Under 17 Hockey Challenge.

    Darrel and his wife Cindy have lived in Lethbridge for over 35 years, with a family of 3 adult children and 8 grandchildren.

    Kathy Wyrostok was born and raised in Lethbridge.

    She graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and has over 15 years experience in the field of Human Resources. She has worked in both the public and private sector which provides her with a well rounded perspective as it relates to business and the opportunities and challenges which exist.
