12:00 PM - 2:00 PM MDTMike Kelloway is the Member of Parliament for Sydney, Glace Bay and currently serves as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Transport and Internal Trade.
First elected to Parliament in 2019, Mike has held several parliamentary leadership roles, including Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Rural Economic Development and the Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA).
Before entering federal politics, Mike worked extensively in education and community development, holding leadership positions with the Nova Scotia Community College and Cape Breton University. A lifelong resident of Cape Breton Island, he is recognized for his community-focused approach to public service and his advocacy for transportation, infrastructure, economic development, education, and healthcare.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts in Community Studies from Cape Breton University and a Master of Continuing Education specializing in Organizational Leadership from the University of Calgary.Location
