The Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome The Honourable Rechie Valdez, Minister of Women and Gender Equality and Secretary of State (Small Business and Tourism), for a special breakfast event on June 22, 2026, at the Sandman Signature Lethbridge Lodge.
Join members of the business community for an engaging morning discussion with Minister Valdez as she shares insights on the federal government's priorities for small business, tourism, entrepreneurship, and economic growth.
Minister Valdez brings a unique perspective shaped by her experience in corporate banking, entrepreneurship, media, and public service. Elected to Parliament in 2021, she made history as the first Filipino-Canadian woman elected to the House of Commons and has served in several key leadership roles, including Minister of Small Business and Chief Government Whip.
This event offers Chamber members and community leaders an opportunity to hear directly from the Minister, gain valuable insights, and connect with fellow business professionals.
