Taber: Production Supervisor

Select is looking for an eager Production Supervisor for their manufacturing plant in Taber, AB. They are looking for a “Do as I Do” leader; someone that is passionate about following up with staff and recognizing their achievements, and who can create a cohesive and engaged culture that strive to reach department goals and expectations.

• The salary is expected to be $70 - $75K/yr.
• This is a fulltime and permanent position
• Rotating 12 hour shifts, 7 – 7
• 4 on/5 off and 5 on/4 off

• Coaching and motivating a team of 40 – 45 production staff with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach; intentional mentorship
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives regarding safety, quality, costs, and customer service
• Meeting targets while operating within budget by monitoring inventories, equipment, and processes
• Ensuring resources/supplies are available as needed to maintain schedules
• Technical aptitude to identify, report, troubleshoot, and correct faults
• Data collection and reporting

• 2+ of supervisory or leadership experience
• Highly motivated to work with people; exceptional communication capabilities
• Computer literacy
• A safety focus at all times 
• Superior time management skills

• Post-secondary Education; Management, Supply Chain, General Science, Agriculture Studies, or related
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment
