• Maintenance Manager

    Select People Solutions is working with our manufacturing client as they seek out a Maintenance Manager to join their team. You will lead a team of skilled technicians and tradespeople, to oversee maintenance activities, maintenance programs, and continuous innovation to the current maintenance processes.     Compensation & Hours:
    • The rate of pay will be $90,000-$110,000/yr.
    • This is a full-time, permanent position
     
    Position Summary:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of maintenance technicians and engineers
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive maintenance strategy to ensure maximum uptime and reliability of production equipment
    • Coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks, including both routine and emergency repairs
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and reduce downtime
    • Manage maintenance budgets and procurement of spare parts and equipment
    • Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan
    • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address equipment failures
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities
    • Track and report maintenance metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement
    • Participate in capital projects related to equipment upgrades and installations
    • Manage contracts and their contractors for external services such as facility landscaping, waste removal, snow removal, ect.
     
    Required Qualifications:
    • Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Facilities Management
    • 5 + Years of prior experience in a manufacturing environment
    • 2 years experience in a managerial role (Experience accompanying a  Journeyman certification will also be considered)
    • Familiar with LEAN manufacturing processes
    • Knowledge in technical skills pertaining to building and machinery maintenance
    • Strong problem solving skills and a highly analytical mind
