Green Acres Foundation is seeking an Accounting Technician who is a dynamic multi-tasker, has a positive attitude, and superior customer service skills.

What you will do:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accountant is an integral part of our Finance team.
- You will utilize strong analytical skills and critical thinking.
- You will assist in producing financial statements and budgets, administer capital asset records, and analyze financial results across a wide portfolio.
- Provide support to the other members within our Finance team when needed (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll) and other duties as required.
What will be required for the position:
- Sound understanding of accounting and reporting concepts.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in all aspects of accounting including financial statements.
- Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Business Administration Diploma or related degree.
- Accounting designation considered an asset.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Sage 300, FIRMS, and payroll software is an asset.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English.
- Current satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
- Must be bondable.
