Coldest Night of the Year 2026

Wood’s Homes is inviting the people of Lethbridge to once again bundle up for this year’s Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY), taking place on Saturday, February 28^th.
 
This annual walk raises essential funds and awareness for youth experiencing homelessness, hunger, and crisis through the Wood’s Homes Lethbridge Opportunity Hub and Emergency Youth Shelter. After a short program at 4:40pm, featuring youth stories and remarks from community leaders, walkers will set out from the Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden for a 2km or 5km route around Henderson Lake.
 
Participants will enjoy beautiful views, and fun surprises throughout the event, all while supporting critical services for young people who rely on Wood’s Homes. To conclude the event participants will be able to join together in the Bunka Centre for a famous mashed potato bar and complimentary access into the Winter Lights Festival inside the Japanese Garden.
