He previously served two terms on Lethbridge City Council and has spent more than 40 years supporting seniors\, individuals with disabilities\, and vulnerable children and families throughout the region through his work with several local organizations and community initiatives.\n\n\n\nThis event will explore the successes\, opportunities\, and challenges facing Alberta's business community\, with a focus on the realities and priorities impacting businesses in Southern Alberta and across the province.\n\n\n\nMLA Pancholi will share insights from her experience in government\, law\, education\, and public service\, followed by an interactive question-and-answer discussion with attendees.\n\n\n\nThis is an opportunity for Chamber members\, business leaders\, and community stakeholders to engage in meaningful dialogue on the issues shaping Alberta's economic future.\n\n\n\nWe look forward to welcoming you to this important conversation.\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nRakhi Pancholi is serving her second term as the MLA for Edmonton-Whitemud and currently serves as the Deputy Leader of Alberta's NDP.\n\n\n\nA lawyer by profession\, she has extensive experience in education\, labour\, and employment law through both public service and private practice. MLA Pancholi holds degrees from the University of Alberta and the University of Toronto and has served as the Official Opposition Critic for both Children's Services and Education.\n\n\n\nShe is also recognised as the first woman and the first woman of colour elected to represent Edmonton-Whitemud in the Legislative Assembly of Alberta.
