Why should I get involved in the Chamber?
Actually you don't have to be involved at all. You can pay your membership fee, enjoy the benefits and be content with that. On the other hand, the more involved you are the greater the benefit. Being involved enables you to build relationships and make contacts that will benefit you for years - both personally and professionally.
Is membership in the Lethbridge Chamber a requirement for all businesses in Lethbridge?
Membership is voluntary in all Chambers of Commerce. Many businesses join our organization to benefit from the promotional, support and advocacy services we provide.
What types of businesses join the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce?
Our members are mostly small business owners and entrepreneurs located throughout Lethbridge and area and represent all types of businesses and industry sectors, both large and small, home-based and not-for-profit organizations.
Can a home-based business or a non-profit organization join the Chamber?
Yes. The Chamber welcomes all home-based business owners and non-profit organizations to become members and benefit from the many opportunities to promote their businesses and network with other business and government leaders.
Why would businesses outside of Lethbridge join the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce?
Whether your business is based in Lethbridge or outside of it, if you currently conduct a significant portion of your business in Lethbridge or are looking to grow your business in Lethbridge, then you should be a Chamber member. Our networking events, seminars, programs and services can assist you in increasing your customer base and our routine communications keep you informed of issues that may affect your business. Of course, we would encourage you to be involved in your own community as well.

Can I bring a guest to Chamber events?
Yes. As a Chamber member you may bring a guest with you to any Chamber event.
Can a link to my company's site be placed on the Chamber website?
Yes. A link to your business site is included in the online Membership Directory when you join the Chamber and is one of the many benefits for membership.
Are there opportunities to promote my business within the Lethbridge Chamber?
As well as the networking opportunities by attending the "Lunch & Learn" seminars and the "Mix & Mingle" events, you could showcase your business by hosting the "Business after Hours" event held as members come forward to host one. The Chamber News highlights special recognition of your company/employee awards or achievements and there are advertising opportunities in the Chamber News and other publications.
