Diversity and inclusion in the workplace aren’t just buzzwords. They’re necessary business strategies.
Opportunity South 2018 will feature a presentation by Indigenous leader and social entrepreneur Kelly Lendsay !
By inspiring government, business, and Indigenous people to overcome exclusion barriers, Lendsay shows how we can reclaim our shared values, take responsibility without shame or blame, and recognize our Indigenous workforce as one of our most valuable resources.
The inaugural President and CEO of Indigenous Works, he has brought his message of the power of relationships and partnerships to more than 250 audiences in Canada and abroad.
Lendsay launched the first Indigenous business education program in Canada, which included the first MBA with a specialization in Indigenous Management at the University of Saskatchewan. There, he redefined the role Canadian universities can play in developing an indigenous economy.
