Description
Co-op students are an untapped resource that can make your business stronger both now and in the future -- especially in today's challenging economy with reduced budgets, cut backs, and layoffs.
The University of Lethbridge Co-operative Education & Internships program, assists post-secondary students in the faculties of Management, Arts & Science, Fine Arts, and the School of Health Sciences (Public Health) in gaining paid, full-time experience in their field of study.
These co-op employment work terms help to develop students' professional workplace learning and enhance success in transitioning to the work force, while helping employers fill short and long-term recruiting needs with bright and ambitious post-secondary students.
Co-operative education programs are recognized provincially, nationally and internationally as ?"the preferred way to complete a degree". Co-op connects talented students with willing employers who can provide field related practical experience that help shape student learning, professional skill development, and career path decision making for the benefit of all involved.
But don't just take our word for it. Check out a recent co-op article in the Montreal Gazette: bit.ly/21VbNNc
