DESCRIPTION:Ability Employment invites employers\, people with disabilities\, and community members to explore new opportunities at the Ability Employment Job Fair on June 1\, 2022\, during National Accessability Week. A division of Ability Resource Association\, Ability Employment offers pre-employment services to adult Albertans with disabilities or chronic mental health disorders\, as well as services to employers who wish to hire inclusively. Thanks to additional funding received from the Government of Alberta's Employment Partnership Grant\, Ability is pleased to focus on building capacity to assist more youth and adults with disabilities to fill the employment gaps within the city. The Province of Alberta is working in partnership with the Government of Canada to provide employment support programs and services. While the job fair is open to everyone\, Ability Employment hopes to encourage employers to embrace the possibilities and hire inclusively. \n\n30 tables will be set up in the Multicultural Diversity Ballroom\; approximately two-thirds of the tables will showcase employers\, while the remaining tables will feature disability employment support organizations. That Hawaiian Burger Truck will be on site. \n\nEmployers who wish to register for a table\, please call 403 - 317 - 4550\, go to Ability Employment (abilityresource.ca) or use the QR code.
